Action Plumbing is a local and family-owned business based in Cedar Lake, Indiana, serving Northwest Indiana, Chicagoland, and Southwest Michigan for over 35 years. We pride ourselves in having a fully staffed office ready to serve and a crew of plumbers who are expertly trained, fully licensed, and prepared to deploy.

Our History
Action Plumbing was founded in 1988 by Peter Bultema, and like most new businesses, he did any plumbing work that he could handle.
Action operated out of a home office and a small warehouse in Lynwood, IL. Over time, the company grew and became more focused on residential construction and remodeling, and it moved to Dyer, IN.
Since 2014, Action has relocated to Cedar Lake, IN, and is managed by Peter’s boys: Andrew, Jacob, and Peter Jr. While residential construction is still a large part of the business, Action is proud to offer service in commercial installation, service, and hydronics.
